A wonderful time for a prosperity spell..
Shimmering Silver Spell
You'll need to perform this on the night of the full moon, and it must be a clear night so the light of the moon actually comes in through your window. Hopefully, that's not too inconvenient for you. All you need is:
• A cauldron
• 7 basil leaves, fresh
• Water, rain or spring
• 1 silver coin
If you don't have a cauldron, use a ceramic bowl (not metal for this one), and the coin must have silver in it. An old dime is a good choice.
Put the coin in the bottom of the cauldron, and pour water over it. Fill it at least half full, but it's up to you. Set the bowl in a window or on a table so that the moonlight shines on it.
One at a time, drop the basil leaves into the water, and say:
By the light of the moon
Bless me soon
Water and silver shine
Wealth be mine in due time
Leave the cauldron or bowl until the next morning, then pour the water and basil out in the yard. Carry the coin in your pocket.

Put 3 white candles in the highest place you have at home,inside a plate
with sugar all around the candles.

Lately ive been having a hard time sleeping.
It could be stress, it could be a number of things.
My doctor has offered to give me sleeping pills, yet because of my copd, im leary of taking such pills as sleeping pills would slow my breathing and drop my oxygen levels, and this scares me,,,,,
SO, being the good wiccan that I am, ive decided to drink some tea that I belive has the properties needed to allow me to relax, that will help me to ease my tensions.

COMMON / FOLK NAMES : Camomyle, Chamaimelon, Ground Apple, Herrmannchen (German), Manzanilla (Spanish), Maythen, Roman Camomile, Whig Plant.
MEDICINAL PART : Flowers
DESCRIPTION : This herb is a low perennial found in dry fields and around gardens and cultivated areas. The stem is procumbent, the leaves alternate bipinnate, finely dissected and downy to glabrous.
The solitary terminal flowerheads, rising eight to ten inches above the ground consists of prominent yellow disk flowers and silver-white ray flowers.
FLOWERING TIME: June and July
PROPERTIES : Anodyne, Antispasmodic, Aromatic, Bitter tonic, Stimulant stomachic.
USES : Chamomile tea is good for flatulent colic, dyspepsia, and for fever and restlessness in children.

Chamomile tea is very relaxing and can help insomnia if a small cupful is taken before bedtime.
Preparation : Use 1 tablespoon of flowers with one cup of boiling water and infuse for five minutes, then drink.

Todays moon phase is a waxing cresent moon..
This means that the moon is growing and each day it will get bigger and bigger, and then ye shall see the full moon.
This is really good time for crafting spells and magick that attracts things, good luck, love, good health, happiness..keep in mind, the bigger the moon, the stronger the magick...
On a side note, todays moon has got me thinking of what I might cook for dinner?
what shall a kitchen witch whip up today? lol
The first thing im thinking is to cook a dish with herbs from my own magickal garden..I want to use herbs that will attract good things into my life and into the life of my family..
Luckily, being the witch that I am, I happen to grow all my own herbs lol..Ive got every kind of herb you can just about think of lol..
Im a thinking, that herbs such as sage and tyhme and sweet basil would be the proper herbs to use..
Sage = Sage is used in magic for wisdom, psychic awareness, long life and protection. As secondary aspects, spells for money use sage. But, by far, its most potent aspect is wisdom and learning. Sage is often bundled tightly into smudge sticks and burned as a scent.
Thyme = Thyme is used in magic for healing, psychic awareness and purification. Often used in love spells, Venus lends this herb high potential in this purpose. Thyme can be used in air magic, releasing its essence slowly.
Sweet Basil = Love, Exorcism, Wealth, Flying, Protection, Visionary, Fertility, Funeral, Consecration, Immortality and Purification
I feel using these herbs in my supper tonight, will bring a lil good luck, happiness, and love into my home in the most magickal of ways..

"Spaghetti w/ Beef & Mushroom Sauce"
Now heres a tasty easy dish to prepare and what makes this dish so special? its my mama's and my grandmothers
recipes...
Lets make a lil magick!
1 pound of lean ground beef
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1 10.75 ounce can of condensed mushroom soup
1 15 oz can sliced mushroom, tho I feel fresh mushrooms are best
1 teaspoon of black pepper
1 15 oz can of tomato sauce
1/2 teaspoon of sweet basil
1/2 teaspoon of sage
1/2 teaspoon of sage
In a large saucepan cook the groundbeef and onion until the meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain. Stir in mushroom soup, tomato sauce, mushrooms and your herbs, and dont forget a pinch of fresh garlic. Simmer covered for 20 minutes and of course, stir your caulden as needed eh?
meanwhile, cook your spaghettie noodles as directed and drain..
